Korean singer, Roy Kim, showed special appreciation for Jungkook through his Instagram live. He mentioned that he was hoping for the idol to appear as a ballad singer soon for it suits him so well! This started mutual recognition as also in the same year, Jungkook posted a cover of the singer's new song, 'Only Then'. [Ref.]

Singer-songwriter Yoon Jong Shin made mention of Jungkook, along with fellow BTS member V. He confirmed that he got to listen to Jungkook's cover of his song 'Thick Rice Wine' and praised his vocals saying, "Jungkook is such a good singer. I love his voice." [Ref.]

On the show, the news anchor revealed that his wife is especially in love with the idol. Seung Jun of the K-Pop group KNK recalled his trainee days with BTS under Big Hit Entertainment. He further reminisced his times with Jungkook, "He was a pretty boy ever since I first met him." The idol added that since he is one of the first peers he has met, Jungkook still leaves a strong impression on him.
